We have manufactured to Ascott's Citadines standard for a 148-key serviced-apartment programme in Istanbul, living and dining furniture included, and a second agreement for the property's loft floors followed. Ascott's own pages describe a Citadines apartment as having “distinct living and dining areas, a fully equipped modern kitchenette”, so a Citadines programme is priced by the apartment and not by the bed.
A serviced apartment is furnished twice over. Ascott's own page for its Istanbul Citadines describes units “ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments”, each with “distinct living and dining areas, a fully equipped modern kitchenette”, and a Citadines programme therefore carries a living room and a dining set per key on top of the bedroom. The Ascott Limited lists four properties in Istanbul, two of them opening in 2026, and Hotelier Middle East reported in July 2025 that the group has around 200 Citadines properties operating or in development across more than 30 countries. Our programme for a Citadines property in Istanbul ran to 148 keys, and a second signed scope for the loft floors followed the first. This page is that programme and what the flag asks of it.

What a Citadines unit asks of the furniture
Ascott's description of the unit sets the scope. A Citadines apartment carries a bedroom, a living area with its seating and a dining area with its table and chairs, and a kitchenette with cabinetry, so the furniture list per key runs to roughly twice a hotel room's and the joinery share is higher. The Istanbul property Ascott describes ranges “from spacious Studio Deluxe to expansive Four-Bedroom Deluxe apartments”, and a four-bedroom unit is four bedrooms' casegoods, one living room, one dining set and one kitchen on a single key.
For the Istanbul programme the living and dining furniture was manufactured on the Gemlik floor alongside the bedroom casegoods, to the operator's standard for a long-stay product: surfaces specified for daily domestic use rather than a two-night hotel stay, seating built for a resident who sits on it every evening, and dining tables that are working surfaces. The loft floors came as a second, signed scope after the first was delivered, which is the shape a serviced-apartment relationship takes: the operator opens in phases and furnishes in phases.

The Ascott Limited's destination page for Istanbul lists Citadines Maslak Istanbul, Citadines Centric Istanbul, a 167-unit property opening in 2026, Citadines Neba Garden Istanbul, also opening in 2026, and Somerset Maslak Istanbul. Hotelier Middle East reported the Maslak opening in July 2025 as “the debut of its Citadines brand in Türkiye” and put the brand at “around 200 Citadines properties operating or in development across more than 30 countries”. Two further Istanbul openings in one year is a furniture programme each, and each is priced by the apartment.
The serviced-apartment operators run their standards the way the hotel flags do, as a sequence of gates: the specification, the submittal package, control samples for finish and fabric, one approved unit, then production held to it. Where a hotel book files the guest room under one chapter, a serviced-residence standard files three rooms and a kitchen, and the mock-up is an apartment, not a key.
